Engel Family Healthcare ("the app") is a personal, non-commercial project that lets a person securely sign in to their own MyChart / Epic account and retrieve and receive copies of their own health records. By using the app you agree to the following.
After you sign in through Epic and grant permission, the app requests read-only access to your own health information (such as your demographics, conditions, medications, lab results, encounters, and clinical documents) in order to deliver your after-visit summaries and clinical notes to you and any caregiver you designate. The app never writes to or changes your medical record.
The app stores your retrieved records and an encrypted connection credential so it can deliver new notes to you, and it relies on a few service providers (including Epic, Supabase, Anthropic, and Resend) to do so. Exactly what is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with, and your rights to export or delete it are described in our Privacy Policy.
The app is for personal informational use only. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For any health decision, contact your healthcare provider.
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It is an early-stage proof-of-concept and may be unavailable or change at any time.
